Growing Back Overplucked Brows
My Brow journey so far- from 90s commas to full bushy brows. WARNING: THIS POST CONTAINS PICTURES OF SERIOUS BROW ABUSE.
I’ve been bringing my thin brows back to life since about February, so that’s about 8 months worth of eyebrow growing. It hasn’t been going too badly. I’ve managed to get to where I am without people screaming and running anyway. My left eyebrow is still playing funny buggers, but they are better than they were. I’ll go into the details of my technique in another post. I just wanted to share these photos with you. Mainly so you can have a laugh and feel better about yourself.
I was scrolling through all the photos I’ve taken this year and selected some that were taken at regular intervals through the growing process. I can’t believe that I used to pluck them out like that. Plucking and waxing your brows out was very fashionable, check out Drew-
And once the brows are gone growing them back ain’t easy. Here is my brow evolution-
I’m sure I can still make some improvements, but things are definitely heading in the right direction. The key is filling in with makeup to make the shape you want and allow the brows to grow into it.

Yes! I can’t believe how horrendous I used to look, no one told me. I’ve just had to do my brows every day, I never used to do them before this year xx

Ohh!! Your eyebrows look very good! :)I have never done it 😛 Did not pluck them so thin ever before. Very interesting post though!
They went really well from July to August! Looking good. I want tips cos I think I have damaged parts of my brows from previous overplucking and they just won’t grow back in between my eyes at all.
Yes. There’s stuff you can get to help with growth might be worth a try. I have a bald patch in my left brow hairs are slowly growing back. I’ll do another post asap xx

I don’t struggle with thinly shaped brows so much, mine are thick in width but their blonde and very fine so I have to do a lot of work to fill them in to make them look natural haha.

I am growing out my eyebrows right now… I went to a parlour to get it done and asked them to keep it thick you know and I left with my eyebrows looking like two underfed eels! The struggle is real but I am growing it out now! 😛
Nightmare! Underfed eels! 😂😂 I can never trust anyone else with my brows now, after what I’ve been through x

great job! I know a lot of people who have the problem of growing their brows back in, since they’ve plucked so much they stoped growing. I am sure many will appriciate this post, showing them improvement is possible 😉

I adore this post. I’ve been there! Omg I look back at photos and I’m like eeek! Lol. I feel like when I go to grow them back I go overboard. I actually stopped getting them waxed and stick with the tweezers since sometimes the aestheticians even go to far!

They look lush! It was cruel to grow up in a time where minimal brows were all the rage. I fell foul of the overplucking too. Mine hardly grow back now to be honest but I still have enough there that they aren’t too stupid on my face!x
